Robert B. Denniston, MD originally hails from New Castle, PA. He graduated with honors with a degree in Biology from Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, PA. Dr. Denniston received his medical degree from The Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at The Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, GA.
Dr. Denniston was the Chief Medical Officer, the rank of Major, in the US Army at the Intensive Care Unit at Walson Army Hospital in Fort Dix, NJ. After the Army, he moved on to be the Attending Physician at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly, NJ. He is the Chief of the Section of General Internal Medicine at Virtua Memorial Hospital. Dr. Denniston has also taught at Memorial Hospital in the Family Practice Residency Program, where he was honored with Teacher of the Year Awards. In addition to his work as an Internist, Dr. Denniston’s medical interests include the promotion of physical and mental well being. Dr. Denniston is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Denniston is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He has also been awarded the On Time Doctor award. Dr. Denniston is married with two children. He enjoys photography and cooking in his free time.
